The impact of toilets

Today is the final implementation day for the Western Pacific Sanitation Marketing & Innovation Program, which has been implemented in Fiji, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands and three provinces of Papua New Guinea for the past four years.

Activities are being transitioned to new funding and sources of support, and the Live & Learn teams are working on final reports to document successes and lessons. We will share these on the blog during July.

Today we share a brief story from a longer interview with a WASH mentor teacher at a Primary School in Honiara, Solomon Islands. The video is only a minute, but the passion and care that this teacher has for improving the lives of children is clear. It has been a privilege for Live & Learn to work with change agents such as these for the past four years.

The Western Pacific Sanitation Marketing & Innovation program was funded by the Australian government, through the Civil Society WASH Fund.
